Event details:
Date:  Saturday 21st May
Address: 59 Brunel Road, Seaford VIC
Bump in time: 8:30am - 10am. If you're planning on cooking, you must arrive no later than 10am so there is enough time to finish cooking at 3pm. Spectators can arrive at any time throughout the day.
Pack-up time: 3:30pm at the latest
Our showroom will be open from 8:30am til 3pm for you to have a look around and pick up rubs/charcoal/sauces etc.

Demonstrations (spectators welcome)
We have a couple of live demonstrations planned throughout the day including some rub taste testing from some of our suppliers.

10am - Greek Gyros with Cameron Davidson from Flaming Coals
11:30am  - Picanha with Steven West from Slow Burner BBQ
1pm - Quail with Scotty Coleman from Atomic Chicken

We will have some live streams to our Facebook page throughout the day and hopefully get around to chat to a few of you so you can share with the viewers what you're cooking.

What to bring?

• Everything you need to cook. Your spit, meat, and extension lead if you're using a rotisserie with an electric motor and anything else required to cook. Charcoal and rubs are available to purchase in-store from 8:30am onwards, however, you are also welcome to bring your own.
• Camping chair to sit on, folding table (to prep your meat on) etc.
• This is a BYO event (we will not be selling or providing any drinks including alcohol).
• You can bring friends and family (if they are cooking they must be registered as well).
• You can bring your own marquee, however, if you do, you will need to bring some weights and tie-down straps just in case it's windy.

Important information:

• In the morning, once you have unloaded your spit, table, etc, you will need to remove your vehicle from the cooking area and park on Brunel road. Safety is our number 1 priority and we cannot have cars coming and going while we have fires going.
• Please ensure you have cleaned your area and are ready to pack up and leave by 3:30pm.
• While we love dogs, unfortunately, due to the number of fires and hazards, we ask that you leave your beloved furbaby at home.

PLEASE NOTE: The purpose of this tailgate party is to bring the spit roasting community together and foster a community of sharing hits and tips, having a good laugh and of course sharing some great food. It is a free event where we are providing the space so that spit roasting enthusiasts can come together over a shared passion. This is not a BBQ competition or a commercial BBQ festival. Wwe are hosting this event because we love all things spit roasting and we want to help grow the community. We will not have food and beverage vendors on-site. It is strictly BYO (and share with your neighbour.....at your own risk).
